GARDEN REDESIGN AND LANDSCAPING
Minimalist Roof Garden
Cool whites and greens bring simplicity and harmony to these tiny, hidden roof terraces
Before and after the garden renovation
The garden redesign details
-
Having completed a stylish renovation of the interior of the house, the client approached us to create matching roof gardens.
Serenity and simplicity were paramouont to them, as was creating a space that was to the same high aestethic standards as the interior.
As their only outdoor space, every inch of the garden mattered.
-
Simplicity was the guiding principal of the design, so we started with a pale Millboard decking for long life and low maintenance, and a renewal of the surrounding cedar cladding that had become grey and discoloured.
Bespoke manufactured, pure white pots of differing sizes allowed us to break up what could otherwise have been a dull line of pots around the outside of the space.
Planting was kept to the most basic - just greens, whites and an occassional pop of purple.
