If you're looking for a tulip that stands out from the crowd, look no further than "Candy Prince". This elegant variety boasts a classic tulip egg shaped flower, calming pink tones with delicate lavender lacing on the petals. One useful characteristic of the plant is that its colour sits harmoniously with many other spring flowers, making it invaluable when designing spring borders.

Like most tulips "Candy Prince" should be planted in full sun between September and December, 15-20cm deep and 10-15cm apart. It is fully hardy, withstanding temperatures as low as -20°C and its stout stems also make it a bit more wind resistant than some of the more delicate tulips. Once the foliage has died, lift the bulbs and store them in a greenhouse, ready for replanting in autumn.
